Arch-administrator — The senior Hurrian official who arrives with a Mauv retinue to inspect the operation and press for answers about why Earth’s war hasn’t begun.
Mauv (plural: Mauvs) — A huge, docile servant species—thinly haired, coarse-featured, broad-nosed—used by the Hurrians as porters and guards.
“the wild one” (human) — A captured human interlocutor whose taunts—calling the Hurrians “vultures” and urging them to “start one”—trigger the story’s moral crisis.
